Female Field ID Camp

Process and Dates

  • We will cap the roster for our 2024-2025 Team Travel Program at a maximum of 18 players (17 runners + 1 goalie). North Strong is also using this ID Camp to find players interested in being part of our Development Program. This program will be developing our younger players to participate in travel tournament opportunities. We want to bring players into the field game and give them the opportunity to showcase their skills against elite competition. 

 

  • Our High School Program involves high-performance training for athletes who are interested in elite-level play and/or NCAA recruiting.  Players must be experienced and demonstrate strong lacrosse skills.

 

  • To support our rostering process, we will be holding a series of small (micro) try-out sessions:

    • Saturday, February 24th, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

    • Saturday, March 9th, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM

    • Saturday, April 20th, 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

    • All of our Micro-Try Outs will take place at the Turf Training Centre 4, Nisku, AB

 

  • Players must attend at least one of the Micro-Try Out sessions.  We encourage players to attend all of the sessions if possible.

 

  • All players will be evaluated by the coaching staff and additional evaluators on their:

    • Women’s field lacrosse skills (stick skills - dominant and off-hand, ground balls, etc.)

    • Positional play

    • Game IQ  and field awareness

    • Speed and agility

    • Hustle/attitude

    • Teamwork/team skills

 

  • We will host a Parent Workshop at each Micro-Try Out to review the trip package and payment options.

 

  • There is a $75.00/player fee to attend our Micro-Try Outs.  This single fee covers all three Micro-Try Out sessions as well as field facility rentals and coaching costs.
