Winter Lacrosse Program
2022-2023

WE ARE BACK!!!

The pandemic put the Winter Program on the shelf for a couple of years, but lacrosse is looking good as we enter the Fall/Winter Season. This year we are focusing on skill development programs for U13, U10, and U8 male and female box lacrosse players. We also will be running a program for U16/14 female box lacrosse players. All the division information is listed below.

For over 10 years we have had the opportunity to work with so many awesome young lacrosse players and grow this camp. The years off due to the pandemic have only made us more excited about getting back to building the sport in the Edmonton area. The entire camp will be run at the Turf Training Center 4, located at 1030 34th Avenue in Nisku, Alberta. This is a new indoor turf facility without boards. Please do not worry about not having boards. The facility will be fully netted and there will be box nets and creases for us to work with. Our entire focus is on developing skills in passing, catching, shooting, and cradling. Our box goalies will still receive the training they require to develop their ball-stopping skills. The facility will be perfect for us to work with players to improve their skills and become better overall lacrosse players.

This program's objective is to teach players the proper way to play lacrosse that has a foundation built on skill fundamentals. Our coaching is committed to teaching the skills players need to excel in the games when their season starts. We want players to love the game of lacrosse and have success because they have been schooled in the fundamentals.

As we head into our tenth year, many of the young players we worked with a decade ago are now playing college lacrosse in the US and Canada, in both men’s and women’s field lacrosse. Others are playing in Junior A and B leagues in the province and there are still more playing for Team Alberta box and field teams. It is exciting to see our Winter Program players making an impact in lacrosse across North America.
